Inmet Mining Corporation - Correction from source

TORONTO, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - Inmet Mining Corporation (TSX-IMN) ("Inmet") - A correction from source is issued with respect to the Inmet press release issued February 12, 2007 at 9:11 am EST.

The fourth bullet on the first page entitled 2008 production estimates, should have read "We expect Inmet's share of copper production to increase by approximately 30 percent to 104,000 tonnes once Las Cruces begins production...".

In addition, the 2008 production objective for Las Cruces in the table at the bottom of page 8 of the press release should have read "18,900", which is Inmet's 70 percent share of Las Cruces' 2008 expected production of 27,000 tonnes. The total 2008 copper production objective in the table should therefore have read "103,800". The corrected table is set out below:
