Inmet Announces Completion of Scheduled Maintenance Shutdown at Las Cruces

TORONTO, CANADA--(Marketwire - March 30, 2010) - Inmet Mining Corporation (Inmet) (TSX:IMN) announced today that the scheduled maintenance shutdown at the Las Cruces mine has been completed on schedule and as planned. The process plant has recommenced operations and Las Cruces will now work towards achieving commercial production (about 60 percent of design capacity) in May, and the annual design capacity production rate (72,000 tonnes of copper) by August 2010. Additional filtration capacity has been ordered for installation in the second quarter to allow full production rates to be achieved.
